On Ron’s Amazing Stories this week we have a cryptid story that takes place in my backyard at the famous Multnomah Falls in Oregon. Also, we have a Philip K. Dick tale called Second Variety, and Tom Williams is back with a special Growing-Up story from his friend Fred.
Featured Story - Second Variety
The claws were bad enough in the first place—nasty, crawling little death-robots. But when they began to imitate their creators, it was time for the human race to make peace—if it could! - Philip K. Dick
When future war becomes so horrific that humans turn to machines and computers to design ways to kill each other strange things begin to happen. Second Variety is a four-part story that begins today. It was first published in Space Science Fiction in May of 1953 and is read for quite expertly by Phil Chenevert.
