On Ron’s Amazing Stories we have a work of fiction sent in by Jose Munoz about a bike ride gone strange. We hear the final chapter of Second Variety by Philip K. Featured Story - Second Variety

So far in our story, we know that the Americans have created self-replicating robots to fight the Russians for them. Also, that these robots have flipped the script and began making humanoid versions of themselves to fool their enemies. The Russians have taken many losses and are ready to work with the Americans to end the war. Is it too late? In this final chapter, we learn the truth.

The story is called Second Variety and was suggested to me by listener Mark Lopez a few months ago. It was first published in Space Science Fiction in the May of 1953 issue.
