On Ron’s Amazing Stories this time we review the halloween audiobook, A Night In The Lonesome October. Then we will hear three new listener stories on These Are Your Stories. Our featured story is about a man and his bid to steal a whole planet! And we will end the show with the story about World War II super spy Juan Garcia. So if that sounds amazing press that play button.
Featured Story - The Man Who Stole A Planet
Our featured story for this week comes from the series Quiet Please. This is one of the more strange stories I have heard from the show. A man collects bodies in his freezer, but he is not a serial killer, or an evil man. Or is he? It is titled The Man Who Stole A Planet and it first aired on July 26, 1948.
Program Note: Our story today was in pretty sad shape. I have wanted it on the show in the past, but lacked the skill to restore it. However, I took another go at it and this is what I came up with. While far from perfect it can be followed. I highly recommend that you listen to it with headphones.
Other Stories Include - Three Scarlet Letters, A Night in the Lonesome October, The shaking, My Mother Sees Dead People, The Night Of The Bagman, The Man Who Stole A Planet, and Not So Important Times In History - Juan Garcia.
