On Ron’s Amazing Stories this time we have a new segment with our own Sylvia Shults. This time she tells stories about the friendly or helpful ghost. We hear a heartwarming tale about a sister’s loss and ghostly beach visit. Also, Ron reads the science fiction classic The Test Rocket.
Featured Story - The Test Rocket
Our story for today was written by Jack Douglas. It is a “What If” tale that looks at space exploration and pitfalls it could potentially unleash. It comes from the Amazing Stories Magazine April of 1955 edition and is titled Test Rocket. It received high-honors from the writers of the time.
Program Note: Sylvia Shults is a Librarian, Author, and Ghost Hunter. She has spent a lifetime in the pursuit of the weird and the strange. Her non-fiction works include Ghost of the Illinois River, Fractured Spirits, 44 Years in Darkness, Hunting Demons and The Spirits of Christmas.
