Well It finally happened, a podcaster's worst nightmare. Ron was struck down with laryngitis. He is nearly over it, but it did make putting a show together this week challenging. The good news is that you are getting all new content. The better news is that we are playing a story that we have wanted to run for a long time, but couldn’t because of its length. It comes from the October, 1930 issue of Astounding Stories and takes us into the world of mad science.

Featured Story - An Extra Man

Our featured story is quite unique. Especially when you realize that it was first published in October of 1930 in Astounding Magazine. This one was way ahead of its time. Star Trek was known for its use of the transporter. But where did Rodenbary get the idea for it? Perhaps it came from our story today. It is titled An Extra Man and this is a fun one.

Other Stories Include - The Book Case, and Ghostsitters - A Crazy Inheritance
